Quiksilver / Chef & The Sea

This story came about when visionary, charismatic master chef, Ludo Lefebvre, and his Los Angeles cult hit “pop-up” restaurant LudoBites is transported to the Big Island. Chef Ludo announces he was opening a restaurant in Hawaii featuring local flavors and who better to pair him up with than elite waterman, big wave charger, and champion spearfisherman Mark Healey to catch the ingredients.

As word spread about the project spread, fellow foodies 5x World Surf Champ Steph Gilmore and Pipeline charger Reef McIntosh jumped on-board giving Ludo a solid crew to accompany him around the Big Island’s North Kona Coast in search of Lobster, Crab, Uku, and other local ingredients to be prepared, cooked and enjoyed.
